Run your AI models in LUMI supercomputer with Aitta

AI inference platform Aitta is a general purpose scalable service component of LUMI to host AI models for the research and development purposes. We offer Aitta for researchers to run their AI models in reliable and powerful computing system, safely in Finland and energy efficiently harnessing green energy powered supercomputers.

Service is fully running inside ISO/IEC 27001 certified CSC Datacenters in Kajaani, Finland.

Aitta offers curated set of state-of-the-art AI models and in the near future we will introduce mechanism to upload and run your own model. All models can be accessed via easy-to-use modern web interface and OpenAI compatible API endpoints with our own python library for programmatic usage. All you need is CSC user account and a LUMI computing project.

Highlights from our roadmap:
- Improved LLM Chat interface with state-of-the-art Nordic+English+code language models
- Improvements for dynamic model loading and introducing model repository which enables users to upload their own models into the system for their own or project group private use.
- We plan to focus on improving the response time and efficiency of the models and dynamic resource scaling of the platform. Default model catalog will be revised soon.
